Nicki Minaj News: American Idol Drama

On September 16, 2012 it was announced that Nicki Minaj would be a part of the judge panel on the hit show 'American Idol' along side Keith Urban, Randy Jackson, and Mariah Carey. The show was deciding if they should go with three judges instead if four because the camera work was mainly the panel of judges and not the contestants, but the producers came to the decision of four and hiring Nicki Minaj for her rap and hip hop perspective.

Minaj and Mariah Carey have been feuding throughout the season and people are skeptic whether it being for more views or if its actually real arguing. After being late countless times on the show, Ryan seacrest called Minaj out on it and that's when the feuding began. The fighting began when it was rumored that Nicki was told she was the best judge next to Simon Cowell and that's why Mariah has a 'problem' with Nicki.

There were major rumors flying around Twitter and other celebrity gossip sites that during a contestants audition, things got so heated and intense between Nicki and Mariah to the point where Nicki threatened to 'knock out' Carey. People still don't know if this is true or not, but its really gaining some views for the slowly fading television show. After this rumor was spread, it was seen that Mariah hired extra security for herself, causing an uproar in gossip about the two 'Idol' judges.

After all of this controversy and arguing, it was reported that Mariah was welcomed onto the show 'The View' and was interviewed for the drama by Barbara Walters. Mariah told Barbara all that was happening on the show and all of the threats Nicki proposed, making Nicki cause a lash-out on Twitter. Nicki got mad because Barbara didn't want to hear her side of the story or any comments from Nicki's fan base showing support for Minaj, instead she felt victimized for being 'the black girl that raps' and took major offense.

This drama has been blowing up around the celebrity news and gossip websites and Twitter, especially after Nicki retaliated on Twitter, creating many posts bashing on Barbara Walters and mocking Mariah. During the tv show 'American Idol', the fighting got heated and went a little bit too far after calling it a wrap with a few contestants still waiting to audition in hopes to become the new singing sensation. Even after all of this happened, people still don't know if its a publicity stunt or if this is the real deal. I don't see how this would get more viewers and some others as well, because after dealing with this and seeing the celebrity news about non stop fighting, people are starting to dislike the individuals and it could take a toll on their careers.
